Karl Bodmann, Hannover- Linden

This motorcycle is an enigma. The history tells that it has been built by Karl Bodmann in Hannover around 1928. It has a 350 ccm Blackburne sv- engine, JAP gearbox (license Sturmey Archer), Tiger fork and a lot of other components from this area. To get electric lights instead of carbide the magneto was changed into a Bosch light- ignition magneto around 1932, when a 'Stolz' sidecar has been fitted. Into the 30' the motorcycle has been disassembled and stored, around 40 years later gently reanimated by the last owner, but never registered. He passed away much too early and the bike went into a museum in Asendorf. Now it runs again and workes without any problems. A documentation, some spare parts and the original carbide lighting system comes with the motorcycle.
